(1)阅读理解
在英语复习的过程中，阅读不是某个阶段应该做的事，而是和背单词一样，要贯穿始终。个人比较推崇的阅读方法是这样的：做每一篇阅读都先看题目和选项，把重要的人名，时间，原因等等选项中涉及的问题做标记，然后再看文章，有的放矢，带着任务去阅读，会发现很多段落和题目无关，省略不读，细读跟选项有关的段落。
这样一遍下来基本上解决3道题，剩下的两、三道题常常考察对文章整体思路和中心意义的把握，这就要重点阅读开头和结尾两段，一般的题目不会超出这样的思路。题目做完以后，不要着急再往下做新的篇章，要把这篇文章细看一遍，不会的单词要查阅记录，更重要的事把每个出题点细读一下，揣摩出题人的意图和角度，这样这篇阅读才算完成。
其次，做真题，推荐张剑黄皮书。今年英语81分的一位大神，把20xx年后十年真题一共做了四遍。后期至少保证每天两篇阅读。看翻译，琢磨句子结构。重复做题、看详解，一路下来水平自然就提高了。
(2)完形填空
完形填空是大家都比较头疼的一项，是考察大家对词汇、语法、结构和习惯用法的理解掌握，一般失分较多。做这一部分时，要迅速将文章浏览一遍，基本把握文章的逻辑和信息要点，要关注首尾两段，各段的首句和xxx关键词xxx。完型是考研的第一道题，答得不理想，会直接影响到后面的阅读，建议把完型作为最后一道题。
(3)翻译
考研的翻译不同于孤立的、没有上下文的单句翻译。要先通读并理解全文，并对文章内容和风格有一个完整和全面的认识，决不能拿来文章就翻译，看一句译一句，须知磨刀不误砍柴工。
有很多同学认为一字不漏地翻译出原文就是忠于原文的最稳妥、最可靠的办法，但实际上中英文是两种不同的语言文字，在词汇和语法上有较大的差异。如果死译、硬译或生搬硬套，只能使译文含糊不清，让人费解。所以，要注意词义在上下文中的一致，按照中文的行文习惯来翻译才是更可取的翻译方法。
(4)作文
作文可以放在下一个阶段重点突击，因为它属于单项之一，就在这里一并讨论。作文复习要记住总一句话--作文，不背是不行的。考研英语有A、B大小两篇作文。
小作文多重形式，不重内容，所以，应对小作文，要多背写作格式，像书信、便条和日记等等英语作文中特殊的写作格式都要牢记。对于大作文，更注重思想内容，语言的流利程度等等。特别是看图、表格作文，怎样开头，怎样布局谋篇和怎样收尾都是有模板可以参照的，所以，依然要多背范文。同时，对于社会上的热门话题也要及时关注，写作时才能言之有物。
3、10月份至11月份：推理演绎，举一反三，及精炼整合、背诵、练习作文。
再重复一下作文，推荐在平时的复习中一边背单词一边整理的高级词汇、金句和词组等，在阅读时也可以多多整理。最后结合模板背诵会比较有效果。同时，也要给自己限时练习，多写一些，不能眼高手低。把自己的文章和例文对照，将例文好的地方抄下来再背诵，一开始自己写肯定比较痛苦，但到后来会越来越容易。也可以关注何凯文、王江涛等老师，他们的名气也不是白白来的。

最后，从实际情况来说，真正具有英文写作能力的考生屈指可数，我和大家一样，从小到大学的都是中国式英语，深知我们的英语教学里对写作的忽视。命题专家肯定比我们更了解这个事实，如果用类似于雅思作文这种开放式作文题目来考察大家，就相当于用高中议论文题目去考察小学生，这样的结果就是考生上了考场现编，绝大多数作文都惨不忍睹，对于选拔性考试来说，这种结果显然是不可取的。
再者，既然是研究生入学考试，所考察的一定是作为一个准研究生应具备的能力，或者说通过考试引导大家提前培养该能力，直到我自己读研后才明白，95%的国内研究生在读研阶段根本不需要用英文写作，所以考研英语写作确实不用去考察真正意义上的英文写作能力。

It’s a busy schedule for everyone. For someone trying to hold down a job, it’s even harder. Students need all their energy for their studies. If theyre working after class at night, they’re going to be tired the next day. They wont be able to concentrate. This will have a negative impact on their learning, and eventually on their grades.
Having a job can also disrupt a teenagers home life. Families spend less and less
time together. If a teenager has a job to go to after school, he wont be home for dinner.
He wont be home after dinner either, and may not get home until late at night, This means he doesnt have a lot of time to spend with his family .If he doesnt have a car, it can mean changes in his parents schedule ,too. They have to drive him to work and pick him up.
The main drawback of a teenager having a job while hes still a student is that hes missing out on the fun of being young. He has a whole lifetime in which hell have to earn a living. 其次是阅读部分的准备。词汇是阅读的基础，在把词汇掌握了个大概的时候，我开始做阅读理解，在这个过程中，要认真分析三、四套典型试题，掌握命题人的出题思路与常见陷阱的设置，提高答题准确性。在冲刺阶段，我开始做真题阅读，阅读前后做了两遍。完形填空部分在初期只做了几套，基本都是在冲刺时做的真题。这期间我还用了也是大家都在用的英语黄皮书，对于复习也能起到很好的效果。
最后是新题型和写作部分。11月中旬进入了冲刺接阶段，我开始练了一些新题型、翻译（都是真题里的），同时开始试着写英语作文。这段时间我每天的复习模式基本上是今天做阅读，第二天就写作文+新题型+单词。在掌握了翻译技巧后，再配合一定量的练习，就没问题了。英语作文一定要自己写模板出来。大概在考前半个月，这时候你也应该看了一段时间的作文了，收集一些优美的句子，特别是结尾发表议论的万能句型，总结一到两个模板出来，不用特意的去背模板，每篇作文用自己总结的模板去写，写上四五次你应该就能把模板熟练的背诵下来了，我当时总结了两个模板，一个针对哲理型的图片—适宜发表议论；一个针对社会现象的图片—适宜描述并引申，每个模板都有150词左右，尤其是发表议论的第三段，模板上我只留了半句空白，其余的都是事先背好的，考场上我只是在模板的基础上填了几个空而已，节省了大量时间去做阅读。

Public transportation would cut down considerably on air pollution.
Public transportation also encourages a sense of community. People who travel to work together all the time get to know each other. Car isolate us from neighbors. However, people feel they need to drive because they cant depend on public transportation to fit their schedules. If more money were available, buses, subways and trains could run 24 hours a day. Then they would be available all the time to the people who need them.
